Toronto developer looking to build 300-400 affordable housing units

As National Housing Week starts to ramp up a Toronto developer is looking to build 300-400 affordable housing units in the city over the next ten years.

The goal is to allocate 300-400 units of space in four housing projects that are already in development to help bring a little more housing affordability to the city. The first of these projects is a 108-unit building and it’s going to add 10-15 affordable units to its repertoire.

Once all the units are built they’ll be listed at 80 percent lower than the Toronto market average.
