45-storey towers planned in Mississauga

A nine-story office building now stands on the site, which will be demolished. In the neighbourhood, a one-story heritage building would be preserved and incorporated into the new development.

Two of the towers would reach 45 storeys, while the third would be slightly lower at 37 floors, according to the developer’s designs. There would be a total of 1,577 new residential apartments in all three buildings, with 3,485 people projected to live there.

The ground floors of the buildings will be used for undetermined commercial space, and the complex will be surrounded by public parkland.

Green roofs, rainwater harvesting, and permeable paving are among the green projects associated with the complex.

Residents would surely be drawn to the proposed development’s location. It is not only close to Square One Mall and a variety of other retailers and restaurants, but it will also be served by the Hurontario LRT, which is set to open in 2024.
