52-storey condo planned for Dundas and Church with 679 residential units

The junction of Dundas Street East and Church Street in downtown Toronto will soon be dominated by a towering 52-story tower.

The project, which will reconstruct the southwest corner of the Dundas and Church crossroads with a skyscraping condo tower, would bring a total of 679 residential units to the region, is being led by developer CentreCourt.

The building’s renderings depict a tall, rectangular skyscraper with a white, asymmetrical tile-like exterior that surrounds the numerous windows. The skyscraper will be built on top of a platform that will accommodate a variety of retail outlets. There will be a variety of unit sizes in the residential section, ranging from studios to two-bedroom-plus-dens.

There will be a plethora of amenities, as one would expect from a large-scale condo building in the heart of downtown. The new tower will include a total of 18,000 square feet dedicated to amenities, including outdoor terraces, BBQ spaces, co-working space, a game room, and a lounge. The planned fitness studio, which includes a CrossFit studio and a Peloton lounge, may be the most intriguing aspect.

Although sales for the building have not yet begun, CentreCourt’s website indicates that sales will begin soon.
