After a few months where it looked like the rental prices in the Toronto area were going to level off, a new report from Liv.rent says that the average price of a one-bedroom is now at $1,735 per month.

This increase is only $43 compared to the average rent of $1,693 in October, but after the summer of price staying steady between $1,690 and $1,700, it may suggest that city rents are climbing again.

Most regions also experienced a slight bump in rental prices throughout the Toronto area, with unfinished rooms in Etobicoke finished rooms in Brampton and Richmond hill being the only exceptions.

Following the same trend as last month, Brampton is the most affordable part of the GTA and downtown Toronto is the most expensive. A one-bedroom apartment in Brampton averages out at $1,514, and the same size apartment goes for around $1,909.
