Choice Properties Real Estate Investment Trust and The Daniels Corporation announced that its Mount Pleasant Village is aiming for a fall launch.
The community will be a rental apartment complex, which is located on Bovaird Drive, just east of Creditview Road, in Brampton and is the first within the area in the past 15 years.
“Daniels has an outstanding and recognizable city-building reputation and is so respected,” Choice vice-president of development, design and engineering Amy Chan. “They’re very much a soup-to-nuts type of developer and we love that they’re such an expert in from-start-to-finish development.”
Chan stated the location is near the Mount Pleasant GO Transit station and close to retail, a community centre, a library, an elementary school, sports facilities and a public square.
Mount Pleasant Village is surrounded by 4,000 acres of parkland with more than 90 kilometres of trails.
Teh building will be a six-storey condominium that will house 106 units. The one- and two-bedroom suites will be part of Daniels’ Accessibility Design Program. The complex will also feature 36 one- and two-bedroom townhomes.
Unfortunately, as of writing, pricing has not been revealed for either the condo and townhomes.
