Several extremely small condo units are in the process of being constructed in downtown Toronto.
The Gupta Group has revealed its Upper Rose collection of luxury condos located in its Rosedale on Bloor condo-hotel tower. The 55 storey building is located on the southwest corner of Bloor and Sherbourne.
This release includes 75 of the 508 suites in the building that are located on the 40th to the 55th floor. However, what makes these units stand out is how incredibly small they are, ranging from just 307 to 729 sq ft., making the smallest condos in Toronto, according to blogTO.
Along with decent views, these units also offer relatively high 11-foot ceilings. For context, most condos feature ceilings that are in the 8-9 foot range.
With that size comes a surprisingly reasonable price of $500,000, a cost significantly under the city’s average price of $720,832. The building’s bigger units are in most cases well over $1,000,000.
