A new 28-storey tower has been proposed to be built in Toronto’s Cedarvale neighbourhood.
The only issue is that the developers and owners want to demolish an existing seven-storey rental building with 62 units to make way for the high-rise, which will consist of 279 units.
There will be 62 replacement units reserved for these renters, but there is no mention of if their prices will go up or where they’ll stay I the meantime.
The units will consist of 40 one-bedrooms, 116 one-bedrooms/den, 41 two-bedrooms, 53 two bedrooms/den and 29 three-bedroom units. All the units also come with their own private balconies, and there will be five townhouses looking into a small park in one of the corners of the lot.
