One person injured as glass door shattered and fell from a downtown Toronto skyscraper

A glass door was observed hung from an under-construction condo building at Front Street West and Draper Avenue around 10:30 a.m. The door twisted and blew in the wind for several minutes before slamming with the side of the building, breaking the glass and sending it crashing to the ground below, according to video shot by user @Claire Hulme on Instagram.

The injury was not serious, according to Toronto Police, who tweeted about it on Friday. Due to the glass, Front Street between Spadina Avenue and Portland Street was closed, and residents in the neighbourhood were asked to exercise caution.
