The prominent northeast corner of the intersection of Knight Street and East 41st Avenue in Vancouver is finally going to be developed.
Previously an Esso gas station, this land has been vacant for 15 years, a new development permit application submitted by Jak’s 41k Holdings and Studio One Architecture for 1407 East 41st Avenue reveals a building with two storeys is planned.
There are 7,900 sq ft of retail and restaurant space on the ground floor and the second level will potentially house 13 rental homes. These rental units will be a mix of 12 one-bedroom units and one two-bedroom unit. There will be an underground level that will provide 39 vehicle parking spots.
BC Assessment records recently assessed the value of location at $3.888 million.
