An estate called the Point Grey Mansion has an asking price of $58 million CAD, more than $25 million more than the second most expensive home in B.C.
In 1990 this home sold for $2.15 million and then again for $7 million in 2009.
The mansion has 21,977 sq. ft. and sits on a 1.2-acre lot in the high-end Point Grey Neighbourhood. This gives it a decent view of the ocean and the downtown Vancouver skyline. It’s got five bedrooms and 12 bathrooms as well.
The home was designed by Earnest Collins Architect LTD and it’s filled with luxury flourishes like two gallery halls with space for 100 guests, a historical Italian Ormolu chandelier and more. There’s even an elevator in the west wing of the building so you can feel confident growing old in this meg-mansion.
Of course, there’s also an indoor pool with a sauna, a six-car garage and the outdoor space is modelled after the French palace of Versailles.
Overall, I guess this home is worth its $58 million price tag and it will be interesting to see who picks up this home moving forward.
